Sessions

We have a wide range of sessions that run throughout the week.

These sessions incorporate elements of stable management, theory, practical skills and riding at an age appropriate level. Harwich Horse Rangers are trained through a progressive syllabus which helps them to achieve badges and have fun!

Saturday Sessions

Saturday has two sessions. Saturday mornings we run a beginners group 10-11:30 riders learn the basics of horsemanship and have their first rides. We also run Saturday group that runs 10-2:30. This Saturday group is for Bronze Spurs students only. These Rangers learn more in-depth stable management, develop their skills and become independent riders. The Saturday session run as a troop, who work together to care for the horses and help each other. For further information please follow to the join us page.

Sunday Sessions

Sunday has two sessions a shorter session 10-12 and a long session 10-2:30. The shorter session is a great introduction to horse riding a stable management. If rangers would like a longer session they can join the 10-2:30 group once completing their tenderfoot badge. For further information please follow to the join us page

Alternative Provision

Throughout the rest of the week we run alternative provision sessions working with local schools, care homes and those that are home educated. For further information on our alternative provision please follow to the alternative provision tab.
