Do I need to pay every week?

The amount paid is a yearly subscription separated into weekly or monthly payments. You will still, therefore, need to pay each week or month even if you can not attend.

Where does the money go?

The money that you pay goes towards the upkeep of the yard and to feed the horses. All tuition and instruction is given voluntarily - no one is paid.

Can I come on both Saturday and Sunday?

We always encourage rangers who have passed their Tenderfoot badge to come along to support each other and to help with the ponies. However, because we have different groups on each day you will probable not be able to ride

My friend wants to join - what should I do?

We encourage Rangers to bring friends. However, for safety reasons we must have permission from a parent or guardian. If you wish to bring a friend let us know in advance so that we can arrange for the necessary form to be filled out. Alternatively, make sure that your friend’s parent or guardian comes with you.

I am getting my own pony. Can I still come to Horse Rangers?

The Horse Rangers Association is for those that do not have their own pony. If you are fortunate enough to have a pony of your own you unfortunately will not be able to be a Ranger.
